bee on white flower
I think we can all learn a thing or two from bees. Even though they extract the sweetest nectar, they do not destroy the entire flower to attain it. They even provide pollination in return - a mutually beneficial arrangement, a respectful give and take, allowing both parties to thrive.
"The bee collects honey from flowers in such a way as to do the least damage or destruction to them, and he leaves them whole, undamaged and fresh, just as he found them."
-Saint Francis de Sales
