Here's something that caught my eye recently. Even though they spend a huge percentage of their day in the water, I’ve noticed that while it’s actually raining, most of the ducks near my house take cover and avoid the rain. This made me think of how we, as humans, might enjoy doing something if it’s by choice, but if that exact same thing is forced upon us we’re much more likely to reject it. There is a massive difference between choosing to swim and being caught in the rain, even though they both involve you getting wet.​
