Spending time in the desert was an incredible experience. I’ve said this before, but it’s a place of extremes, in which very little can survive. The days were scorching hot and calm, the nights were freezing cold and gusty. But even with so many extremes, the one constant that stood out to me was that just about anywhere I looked, it was beautiful.
