The thing I've learned about rose photography is that there's actually a very small window of opportunity to capture the gorgeous spiraling center before the outer leaves begin to wilt and shrivel. I see this as a metaphor. Let's not focus on the majority of time in which things aren't ideal, instead let's focus on the short moments in which things are perfect.
