Often times photographers, myself included, will increase color contrast while editing photos. Sometimes it's because the camera didn't capture the scene quite like the eye saw it and adjustments are necessary. Other times the photographer prefers to make one section of the photo pop a little bit more for aesthetic or stylistic preferences. In this case, however, nature did all the hard work for me and all I had to do was snap the photo and crop it to size.
