This week's photo is quite a bit different than my usual style. I had been meaning to photograph this beautiful barn for a while. Like... months. There's just something about old structures that I love. And to my good fortune, on the day I finally made the time to photograph it, I find a massive red-tailed hawk perched on top. Red-tailed hawks are easily one of my favorite animals. In fact, in many religions, traditions and cultures, particularly Native American cultures, hawks are seen as a symbol of strength and power, focus and clarity, and in some cases are seen to be protectors from enemies and danger.
