I've loved this old barn for years. And I've often seen a lone hawk perched on top of it as I pass by. On this particular day, there were two! Perched side by side, a lovely silhouette against the back drop. I had my camera with me, so I parked the car and got into position. And right as I did they both decided to fly off. I'm still really happy with how the photo turned out, but am admittedly pretty bummed that I wasn't able to photograph them pre-flight. And I have a sneaking suspicion that it'll continue to bother me until I finally get the opportunity again.
