Photo of the week - Sept 5, 2018

I took this shot while hiking through the beautiful countryside of Lassen Volcanic National Park. I had just climbed a pretty long, steep section of the trail, tired and ready for a break, and then there in front of me was this beautiful buck. Just grazing on grass and enjoying the coolness of the shade.
