As you may know, in addition to photography and working with wine, I am also building a financial coaching business. And while I like to keep cross-promotion to a minimum, I just completed a non-photography project that I feel very comfortable sharing with you here. You may recall that a while back I stopped drinking alcohol for a few months. Not drinking was challenging in ways, and easy in others. But all-in-all it had a profound and positive effect on me. So much so that I wrote a blog about my experience. The blog is a mix of my personal and financial observations, and it has been getting really positive feedback from those that have read it. Writing the blog was far more time and energy consuming than I anticipated, but I loved every minute of it. The process helped clarify my thoughts and feelings around the topic and acted as a form of therapy for me, if I’m being honest. And I hope it helps someone, somewhere, gain clarity around their own relationship with alcohol. As you’ll read in the blog, my intent is not to demonize alcohol, but I did really enjoy my time away from it. I’d be absolutely honored if you gave it a read. Thank you, as always, for the constant support you guys show me and my various passions and projects. I appreciate you deeply. The blog can be found at www.northstarfinancials.com/theblog.
